Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Just A Door

Just A Door

(album: Boy From Anderson County To The Moon - 2022)

It's just a seven-by-three piece of pine tree
From somewhere down in Georgia
A nine-panel glass hung way back
In 1954
They say it's original, squeaks just a little
Well, something that old probably should
But other folks think it's just a deadbolt
A handle, and some hinges on wood

But it's been slammed like thunder, the kind that makes you wonder
What in the hell it's seen
It's been wide open, locked up tight
And every place in-between
Yeah, you walked in and out of it a thousand times
But all it took was just one goodbye
To leave a broken heart strung all across the floor
Just tryna find another way outta these walls
Yeah, you're gone but it ain't his fault
'Cause after all it's just a door

Well, I got half a mind to get drunk tonight
And put this place on the market
On the other hand there's a jerrycan
Full of gas that can help me spark it
But knowing my luck, this house would go up
And the damn thing'd be standing there still
Like a "she's gone" reminder, looking just like
The damn back door to hell

It's been slammed like thunder, the kind that makes you wonder
What in the hell it's seen
It's been wide open, locked up tight
And every place in-between
Yeah, you walked in and out of it a thousand times
But all it took was just one goodbye
To leave a broken heart strung all across the floor
Just tryna find another way outta these walls
Yeah, you're gone but it ain't his fault
'Cause after all it's just a door

And I could paint it, change it
Trade it out for something new
But I'll probably just leave it there swinging
'Cause it's all I got left of you, yeah
Oh, yeah

It's been slammed like thunder, the kind that makes you wonder
What in the hell it's seen
It's been wide open, locked up tight
And every place in-between
Yeah, you walked in and out of it a thousand times
But all it took was just one goodbye
To leave a broken heart strung all across the floor
Just tryna find another way outta these walls
Yeah, you're gone but it ain't his fault
'Cause after all

It's just a seven-by-three piece of pine tree
From somewhere down in Georgia
