Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Pride

Pride

(album: While The Gettin' Is Good - 2015)

I read P-R-I-D-E on the bulletin board, first day of my Sophomore year
Eastpak on my shoulder, Nikes on my feet
Dragging slack, I was busting in my baggy jeans
I thought "Psh, whatever" and I rolled my eyes
Went strutting down the hall to give my boys high-fives
The friends I made back then, are my real friends now
I still see 'em when we go hang out
In town, down the road from the halls we came of aging
Now I get it

Pride, was a capital letter on my baseball cap
It's what held us together around this dot on the map
Now its the color I bleed and the stitches in my shoes and my jacket
Match it, pride

I read P-R-I-D-E on the cheerleader sign on the field on a Friday night
I wasn't on the team, I wasn't in the band
Just another twelfth man up in the stands
Flying off my feet when the hometeam scored
Laughing at the visitors, pointing at the scoreboard
Sure, I got carried away, but I didn't mean harm
Just a fan of where I was from
The stadium lights shine bright on us all
Win, or lose, or draw

Pride, was a capital letter on my baseball cap
It's what held us together around this dot on the map
Now its the color I bleed and the stitches in my shoes and my jacket
Match it, pride

I was a country boy, but I wasn't a redneck
A solid "B" student on my college prep trek
I had ambition, plans of moving on
But I graduated college then I came back home
Because the trees grow strong when their roots run deep
And this town is the only place I can sound asleep
P-R-I-D-E is in my heart and soul
It's something I want my children to know
So I keep believing, no plans on leaving
Even if we have a losing season

Pride, was a capital letter on my baseball cap
It's what held us together around this dot on the map
Now its the color I bleed and the stitches and my stitches,
and my stitches, and my stitches, and my stitches
Pride, was a capital letter on my baseball cap
It's what held us together around this dot on the map
Now its the color I bleed and the stitches in my shoes and my jacket
Match it, pride
Pride, pride, pride
Yeah, I got pride
