Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

New York

(album: When Did You Get Old? - 2020)

You hate New York, but I love it
You see floor, I look above it
To the high rise and skylines
Dreams are made sometimes
Off Broadway & 3rd
You don't talking when things get broken
So we just keep walking and it
Stays unspoken and I live with the pieces
While you remain speechless, unheard

But if I could go back to the imperfect, then I would
'Cause it's worth the pain
For the times that it was good

Why does it hurt like this?
Why do I feel the knife?
You must have put it there when I put both my arms right around you, around you
Why does it hurt so bad to l-l-love
To l-l-l-l-love you?
Why did you build a lifeboat only to watch it sink?
Why did you disappear the second that I needed to find you, to find you?
Why does it hurt so bad to l-l-love
To l-l-l-l-love you?

You don't like people so you avoid them
And precious moments, you destroy them
While I wrote you the verses, you may feel worthless
So I just stop writing

But if I could go back to the imperfect, then I would
'Cause it's worth the pain
For the times that it was good

Why does it hurt like this?
Why do I feel the knife?
You must have put it there when I put both my arms right around you, around you
Why does it hurt so bad to l-l-love
To l-l-l-l-love you?
Why did you build a lifeboat only to watch it sink?
Why did you disappear the second that I needed to find you, to find you?
Why does it hurt so bad to l-l-love
To l-l-l-l-love you?

And if I could say what I needed to say
I'd be the first one admitting that I made mistakes
'Cause I make mistakes
And if I could heal all the scars that you hide
I'd take them all, I would mix them with mine
If you would be kind
And l-love me one more time

Why does it hurt like this? (Why does it hurt like this?)
Why do I feel the knife?
You must have put it there when I put both my arms right around you, around you
Why does it hurt so bad to l-l-love (When I put my arms right around you)
To l-l-l-l-love you?
Why did you build a lifeboat only to watch it sink?
Why did you disappear the second that I needed to find you, to find you?
Why does it hurt so bad to l-l-love
To l-l-l-l-love you?
