Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

Pretty Women (Pt. 2)

Pretty Women (Pt. 2)

(album: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street (2023 Broadway Cast Recording) - 2023)

[TODD:]
Now then, my friend
Now to your purpose
Patience, enjoy it
Revenge can't be taken in haste

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
Make haste, and if we wed
You'll be commended, sir

[TODD:]
My lord
And who may it be said
Is your intended, sir?

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
My ward

And pretty as a rosebud.

[TODD:]
As pretty as her mother?

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
What? What was that?

[TODD:]
Oh, nothing, sir. Nothing. May we proceed?

Pretty women...
Fascinating...
Sipping coffee
Dancing...
Pretty women
Are a wonder
Pretty women...

Sitting in the window or
Standing on the stair
Something in them
Cheers the air

Pretty women...

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
Silhouetted...

[TODD:]
Stay within you...

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
Glancing...

[TODD:]
Stay forever...

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
Breathing lightly...

[TODD:]
Pretty women...

[JUDGE TURPIN & TODD:]
Pretty women!
Blowing out their candles or
Combing out their hair...

[JUDGE TURPIN (TODD):]
Then they leave...
Even when they leave you (Even when they leave)
And vanish, they somehow (They still)
Can still remain (Are)
There with you (There)
There with you (They're there)

[JUDGE TURPIN & TODD:]
Ah, pretty women...

[TODD:]
At their mirrors...

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
In their gardens...

[TODD:]
Letter-writing...

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
Flower-picking...

[TODD:]
Weather-watching...

[JUDGE TURPIN & TODD:]
How they make a man sing—
Proof of heaven
As you're living—
Pretty women, sir!

[JUDGE (TODD):]
Pretty women, yes! (Pretty women, here's to)
Pretty women, sir! (Pretty women)
Pretty women! (All the)
Pretty women, sir! (Pretty women...)
Pretty women...

[ANTHONY:]
Johanna marries me Sunday
Everything's set, we leave tonight

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
You!

[ANTHONY:]
Judge Turpin!

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
Oh, there is indeed a higher power to warn me thus in time! Johanna, elope with you? I will lock her up in some obscure retreat, where neither you nor any other vile corrupting youth shall ever lay eyes on her again!

[ANTHONY:]
But, sir, I beg of you!

[JUDGE TURPIN:]
And as for you, barber! It's all too clear what company you keep. Service them well and hold their custom for you will have none of mine!
