Hello! I'm Lyrkit!

I tried many ways to memorize English words and found the most effective one for me!

We already have all the words of the songs that we have heard throughout our lives in our memory. We simply did not pay attention to them, but we all already hear them!

I noticed that when you learn a new word from a song that you have already heard before, you already know the translation of this word forever and you will never forget it!

I want to share this method with you. So, the scheme is as follows.

We find songs that we have already heard.

We add all unfamiliar words from them.

We pass mini tests of memory games. done

Now that you know a lot of words, you will very quickly come to know the whole language!

I bet you'll be surprised how effective this method is!)

We Cared

We Cared

(album: This Is Weirder - 2020)

What a life
What a life, what a life, what a life true
Here to die
Here to die, here to die, here to die too
Where the love? Where the love that you shared?
Really wish that you could still be here
I just hope you know that we cared

Yeah
Back with my family, back in Ohio
Used to visit in Summers, but this no Fourth of July, so
Black car to the funeral home, greeted arrivals
I'm not even religious, that moment needed a Bible
Pastor holding his Bible as we pay our respects
Read a passage from that shit that I already forget
I walked up and said some shit that I already regret
A lighthearted joke
About how seeing my grandma [?] school close
Hmm, the last grandparent I had left
Funny story: I never knew my grandfather
Wasn't my real grandfather 'til I was like sixteen, yeah
Never questioned why we called him Mr. [?]
They actually dated some time before she settled with my real one
My real one built a house that they lived in, now it's a Airbnb
Crazy how, once we leave
Someone could rent our place and not know of our memories
But back to that rainy day, I stared at that casket
I swear, for a couple moments, nothing else mattered
Something in my sorrow felt selfish, something about tomorrow felt helpless
Knowing, one day, that it would be my turn to be dealt with
I just hope the people that surround me
Find peace, even as their grief is amounting
Damn... as we return to the universe
I'm surely not the last and not the first

No way of preparing for it
Dressed up with my folks
I was at the burial
Speaking to a ghost
I was asked to carry her
Teardrops on my nose
I know that you loved me, but
Were we even close?
(No way of preparing for it) No way of preparing for it
(Dressed up with my folks ) Dressed up with my folks
(I was at the burial) I was at the burial
(Speaking to a ghost) Speaking to a ghost
(I was asked to carry her) I was asked to carry her
(Teardrops on my nose) Teardrops on my nose
(I know that you loved me, but) I know that you loved me, but
(Were we even close?) Were we even close?

Were we even close?
