Hallo!

We voegen alle onbekende woorden ervan toe.

Someone Who Isn't You

Someone Who Isn't You

(album: Someone Who Isn't Me - 2020)

It's late at night and I'm feeling stuck
It's no surprise I've been keeping up
With what you're doing, where you're going
The plot thickened as it kept unfolding in front of me

Was it all a scheme? Did it mean anything?
I'd write it off if I could write about anything else

I used to call you late at night
Ask you what you're doing
Tried to make it right
You always kept it moving
Was someone in your bed
My mind was always racing
It's all inside my head
You always kept me chasing

I used to call you late at night
I used to call you late at night

I guess you must've fell asleep

So it's come to this: a swing and a miss
It's no surprise that we'd end up split
You tried confusing techniques you're using
So obvious but it was not my choosing

To follow through left a mystery, felt no sympathy
I wrote it off cause you're writing it with somebody else

I used to call you late at night
Ask you what you're doing
Tried to make it right
You always kept it moving
Was someone in your bed
My mind was always racing
It's all inside my head
You always kept me chasing

I know the story's different when I'm not around
Cause I used to hear from you when the sun went down
And now the time has changed, yea the time has
Changed I'm saved in your phone with a different name

Just a couple month sit was feeling new
And everything you did yea I did it too
I know it's hard to choose, yea it's hard to choose
I can't believe you did it, but I'm starting to...

What does he have that I ain't got? Except you!

klaar
